The World's Favourite: And Then There Were None, Murder on the Orient Express, the Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie | Jan 1, out of 5 stars I am reviewing "And Then There Were None: Book 1" by Kenneth E. Smith.

I was intrigued by the story line initially and that's why I bought it. But after reading the first And Then There Were None; Book 1 book chapters, I realized that the author probably just had had a brainstorm and wrote the book in about five hours.3/5.

One of the worlds best selling books of all time, Agatha Christie's "and Then There Were None" sets the standard for crime fiction. The book was first published under a different title in jolly old England, but even back in American publishers were far too politically correct /5.

Not all of the murders in And then There Were None result from violence.A couple of characters are poisoned and go somewhat peacefully.

However, most are dispensed with by violent means. The book includes murder committed by drowning, bludgeoning, shooting, and dropping a heavy object on a man's head from a second-story window.4/5. Then came And Then There Were None, and it absolutely blew me away. Evil Under The Sun's main problem for me was the distinct lack of action - in essence, the book features one brief murder and then concentrates solely on the suspects' alibis.

A little dull, I thought. No such problem though with And Then There Were None/5(K). And Then There Were None is a mystery novel by English writer Agatha Christie, described by her as the most difficult of her books to write.

It was first published in the United Kingdom by the Collins Crime Club on 6 Novemberas Ten Little Niggers, after the minstrel song, which serves as a major plot point. The US edition was released in January with the title And Then There Were.

The book’s original title is not the only reason it is a highly controversial piece of writing. Racism and orientalism are found throughout the novel, and some non-US publications still use versions of the original title.

And Then There Were None has sold over million copies worldwide. Read more: Identifying first editions of Ten Little. A summary of Part X (Section1) in Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. Perfect prep for And Then There Were None quizzes and tests you might have in school. This is an unusal book, in that it is a murder mystery novel that, having once been read, loses nothing on subsequent reads. If anything, subsequent reads actually serve to give a deeper appreciation for the sheer genius of it.

And Then There Were None is easily the best in its genre/5(9). Then There Were None (Matt Foley/Sara Bradford series Book 2) - Kindle edition by Tenery, V. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow; but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing.', 'It is a curious thought, but it is only when you see people looking ridiculous that you realize just how much you love them.Afterwards, there are several matters I want to discuss with you all.” Knowing Mrs.

However, the graphic novel, simply, didn't work for me. I think that artwork was not good enough and it killed the mysterious and dark theme of the book.4/5.
